Chapter 1: The Gathering Storm
In the land of Éire, where the hills rolled emerald green and the rivers whispered ancient secrets, the Tuatha Dé Danann thrived. Among these godly beings were three sisters, known collectively as The Morrígna: Badb, Macha, and Nemain. Each goddess embodied different aspects of war and fate, and their combined power was feared and revered by all.
The time had come for the Tuatha Dé Danann to face their ancient enemies, the Fomorians, in a battle that would decide the fate of Éire. The air was thick with tension, and the land itself seemed to hold its breath in anticipation of the coming conflict.
High atop the sacred hill of Tara, the Morrígna gathered. Badb, the crow of battle, with her dark, piercing eyes and raven-black hair, surveyed the horizon with a grim expression. Macha, the sovereign and protector of the land, her auburn hair flowing like a river of fire, stood tall and resolute, a symbol of strength and endurance. Nemain, the bringer of chaos and frenzy, her eyes wild and hair untamed, paced restlessly, eager for the turmoil to begin.
